Phase 1 (Friday, 18:0020:00)The game will start with a red flag standing in Red's base (Bragg) and a blue flag standing in Blue's base (Campbell).  Each of these factions is tasked with defending their own flag while simultaneously trying to capture the other's flag by grabbing it and bringing it back to their own base which will earn 1 point for the faction that successfully completes the capture.  Then, Game Control must be immediately notified so that they can reset the captured flag by walking it back to the base from which it was taken.  These flags may not be hidden in any way such as being rolled up, covered, or stashed.  If your faction's flag is taken from your base but you are able to intercept it before it reaches the opposing faction's base, you must bring it back to your base in a straight line without veering off course.  As with all game props that are larger/longer than a basketball, you must drop any flag that you are carrying when you get hit.Red and Blue will start the game with 2 points each that they may spend to temporarily hire Freelancers for mercenary work, fire support, tactical advice, and/or reconnaissance if they so choose.  Future earned points may be spent in the same way or saved for the end goal.
1st Pausex (Friday, 20:0023:00)During this pause in the game, Red and Blue players who wish to camp overnight may set up their tents at their respective bases.  The entire AO with the exception of the Valley, marked in purple on the above map, will become a huge Safe Zone where all airsoft guns are to be disabled with magazines out, chambers cleared, and barrel covers or holsters on.  This large temporary Safe Zone will be in effect until noon on Saturday when Phase 3 begins.
Phase 2 (Friday, 23:0001:00)Airsoft guns may be fired to where their projectiles only travel within the Combat Zone in the Valley that is marked in purple on the above map.  Before you leave the Combat Zone with your airsoft gun, you must remove the magazine, fire enough shots to clear the chamber, and put its muzzle in a barrel cover or holster.  Only during this phase, Red and Blue will both have new self-respawn poles set up that straddle the Combat Zone only during this phase as shown on the map.The objectives from Phase 1 are no longer in play.  Instead, Red and Blue are expected to fight over the three capture sites, labeled West, Middle, & East, that run through the middle of the Combat Zone and are marked with purple flags on the map.  To capture a control site, you must throw your enemy’s flag on the ground and replace it with your own as shown HERE.  There’s no limit to the number of times the flags may be flipped on a control site, but you’re not allowed to steal or hide the flags.  At 00:00 and 01:00, these sites will be scored by Game Control with 1 point per site awarded to the faction that has their flag raised on it.  Meanwhile, the Freelancers will be fighting against both of the other factions to keep all flags down on all three sites for the entire duration of the phase. Also, during this phase, as long as they do not pose a risk of eye injury, Red and Blue players are allowed to engage in melee combat outside of the Combat zone with boffers and NERF guns in an effort to assassinate and take the dog tags of enemy leaders to be turned in to Game control for points as follows:  5 points for the enemy Commanding Officer, 4 points for the enemy Executive Officer, and 3 points for each enemy Squad Leader.  Each of these individuals will have only one dog tag to give up regardless of how may times they're hit.  Freelancer leaders will not have dog tags.
2nd Pausex (Saturday, 01:0012:00)All players are encouraged to relax and get plenty of sleep so that they'll be rested, fully equipped, and on time for Saturday's 11:30 game briefing at the Pond.
Phase 3 (Saturday, 12:0016:00)The extra Red and Blue self-respawn poles that straddle the Valley are no longer in play and have been removed.  The entire AO is back in play with airsoft guns allowed throughout.  Red and Blue leaders no longer have dog tags to be captured.  The capture-the-flag game dynamics from Phase 1 and the Valley control sites from Phase 2 are back in play.  However, the Freelancer may be hired again and are likely to have new priorities that don't include guarding the Valley control sites.
GoalBetween Red and Blue, the faction with the most points at the end of the last phase will be declared the winner.
